Public architecture is, in our view, a primary expression of social, cultural and civic values. The design of public buildings requires great sensitivity to local contexts – physical, social and cultural – alongside excellence in functional and aesthetic design. We see public projects as an opportunity to create buildings that serve as community anchors and as broad-ranging centers of urban and regional influence.

 

Our design approach emphasizes accessibility, multi-use, sustainability and longevity, while facilitating dynamic adaptation to the changing needs of diverse communities. In each public project, we strive to create a clear, accessible and meaningful architectural language that empowers users and enriches the physical and social space in which it takes place.

 

Our studio has designed dozens of diverse public projects throughout the country and the world, from educational institutions, cultural facilities, healthcare buildings, community centers, embassies and consulates, and more – while integrating complex systems and advanced engineering.
